2. Meet your New Patient Liaison

Your New Patient Liaison is your personal guide to all things new patient at Loehr Health (formerly Loehr Chiro). He or she will take your vitals, review your insurance or billing information with you, and see if you have any questions before getting started.

Your guide will also show you which waiting area is for your doctor’s patients. That way, you know where to head after check-in for any future appointments.

3. Get an exam

It’s time to meet with your doctor. Be sure to explain what symptoms you are experiencing and your personal health goals. Do you want to be out of pain? Are you wanting to climb Mt. Everest? Whatever your goal is, let your doctor know. This information will help form a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

Based on your exam, your doctor may order x-rays or other diagnostic testing. In most cases, patients are treated during the first visit.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

During your initial exam, your doctor will determine if  x-rays, imaging (like an MRI), or lab work is medically necessary to diagnose you and recommend treatment.

You are also welcome to bring a copy of your recent x-rays as long as they are taken within the previous 2 years of your appointment. You are also welcome to bring other recent diagnostic test or lab work results to your appointment.

On average, your first visit will be 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is the longest appointment time. You will be reviewing your enrollment information with a team member and an exam with your doctor. If medically necessary, you will also have x-rays taken on-site and any treatment recommended by the doctor will begin the same day.

On average, our regular patient appointments are 30 minutes including treatment and potentially therapies.

Our team uses holistic treatments like chiropractic, acupuncture, nutrition, and more to improve our patients’ health as a first option for treatment.

If medically necessary, your providers may refer you to a medical doctor, specialist, or our primary care physician for reviewing your case. That physician may prescribe you medicine or recommend an alternative treatment route.
