Women’s Health FAQs
How Does Chiropractic for Women’s Health Work?
Women face unique health challenges, many of which can be treated through chiropractic care.
How can addressing misalignments in the spinal column alleviate the health issues that frequently trouble women? For starters, the nerves that feed the female organs come directly from the lower back. A misalignment in the lower back can cause abnormal tension or strain on these nerves. In many cases, the result is faulty communication between the organs and the brain. This can result in abnormal bleeding, uncomfortable digestive issues, irritability, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and pain. Correcting the misalignment relieves the troublesome tension, restoring communication and soothing difficulties.
It’s worth noting that chiropractors do not simply treat symptoms of an issue; they work to identify and correct the root cause of the trouble. We understand that the human body has an incredible inborn ability to heal itself if given the right environment. Correcting subluxations and misalignments supports the body’s own healing mechanisms, improving specific conditions and overall health.
