Sports Chiropractic and Athletic Training FAQs
What does a sports specialized chiropractor do?
Sports chiropractors specialize in the prevention and care of musculoskeletal injuries in athletes. Athletes may include student athletes, weekend warriors, or professional athletes.
They use a hands-on approach to treatment—without the use of surgeries or medicine. They can give advice on how to increase sports performance or help you recover from an injury.
What kinds of assessments do you do for sports performance?
Our chiropractors complete a full exam including x-rays, if necessary, on all patients. Additional assessments may be completed by our athletic trainers depending on what sports or activities you participate in and what your goal is.
Do you offer sports physicals?
Yes, sports physicals are $35.
Is seeing a chiropractor covered by insurance?
Chiropractic care coverage varies based on your insurance plan. We are in-network with many companies. We will run your insurance benefits prior to your first appointment, so that you know what is covered before receiving treatment. For additional financial information, please CLICK HERE.
