2144 E Republic Rd, STE A-104, Springfield, MO, 65804

Dr. Adam St. Peter is a chiropractic physician at Loehr Health Center. He re-joined the team in July 2021 after completing an internship with the clinic during his undergrad. St. Peter shared, “While I was there [for my internship], I really enjoyed myself, the people, and the patient-centered care that these doctors provide and wanted to be part of the team. Whether patients are barely able to walk through the door, or just looking to see a chiropractor for maintenance care, it never gets old watching somebody get better and knowing that you helped them get to that point.”

In his spare time, Dr. St. Peter enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, or grilling out with friends/family.

Bio

Native to: Joplin, MO

First job: Chiropractor

Why did you become a chiropractor?
I became a chiropractor because when I was younger I had knee and elbow pain that nagged me for years. My dad took me to his chiropractor and his treatment completely relieved my knee and elbow pain, which have still never returned to this day. After witnessing first-hand the impact chiropractic can have on a person, I decided that was something I wanted to pursue.

Who was the biggest influence on your career?
My biggest influence on getting into the field of chiropractic was my childhood chiropractor, Dr. Rod Carson. My biggest influences on the way I practice and my techniques are Dr. Michael Wittmer and Dr. Jane Wibbenmeyer—two of the best doctors that Logan University has to offer.

What is the one thing you want patients to remember when they leave an appointment with you?

I want patients to remember that I do care about their well-being and that I have their best interest in mind. We are here to help.

If you could possess one super-hero power, what would it be?
Teleportation—If I could get from Point A to Point B in the blink of an eye, I could go everywhere, see everything, and be back to work on Monday.

What is your favorite food?
BBQ

If you weren’t a doctor, what job would you be doing?
If I was not a doctor, the dream would be to have my own outdoors show. Getting paid to travel and hunt/fish across the country would be incredible.

What’s the one problem you’re best at solving for your patients?
I feel that I am best at making patients feel comfortable with receiving chiropractic care, especially the apprehensive ones whose previous experiences with chiropractic have been less than stellar.
