Why did you become a chiropractor?
I became a chiropractor because my brother had severe scoliosis growing up which required weekly chiropractic appointments. During the visit Dr. Amy would allow me to use the massage chair and other therapies while my brother got treatment, making me feel important as well. As I became an adult, I wanted to help people in pain using holistic methods as I have seen what damage pain pills could cause.

Who was the biggest influence on your career?
The biggest influence in my career has been my Husband who has always pushed me to do my best and believed in me even when I did not believe in myself at points. Although my mother-in-law was the reason I decided to go the chiropractic route versus the medical route because she showed me through her experiences that the medical route is not always the best route.

Where can we find you when you’re not working?
When I am not working you can find me playing with my dog Milly on the couch. When the weather is nice, my husband and I love to go hiking and canoeing, which is a big reason why we chose to move to Missouri.

If you could possess one super-hero power, what would it be?
My superpower would be to create fire, so I’ll never be cold again.

What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is spaghetti.

If you weren’t a doctor, what job would you be doing?
If I wasn’t a chiropractor, I would probably be an Orthopedic Surgeon.

What’s the one problem you’re best at solving for your patients?
I am best at offering advice on lifestyle or ergonomic changes that can be made to allow patients to get through their day with less stress and pain in their body.
