Most insurance plans cover x-rays and diagnostic imaging (ex. MRIs) that are medically necessary. However, specific benefits on individual insurance plans may vary.
Functional medicine is not covered by insurance.
A health savings account (HSA) may be used to pay for lab fees if they are part of medical care according to the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). A patient may also submit a claim to their insurance company for potential partial or full reimbursement of lab work.
We accept Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Savings Accounts (FSAs) to pre-pay for these services. We will provide you with all of the required receipts to submit these services. Please note that most HSAs and FSAs will allow you to pre-pay for these services. However, it is the account holder’s responsibility to determine the limitations with their contact person who holds these specific guidelines.
For many other services at our office, we are in-network with many insurance companies. We will run your insurance benefits prior to your first appointment, so that you know what is covered before receiving treatment.
To see is to know. To know is to guess. And we won’t guess about your health. Your doctor will only order the diagnostic tests (ex. x-rays) that are medically necessary to diagnose and treat you.
Your doctor may request x-rays prior to your treatment. Your doctor will only order x-rays if it is necessary to diagnose and treat you. We have digital x-rays on-site, so you do not have to make a separate appointment to have these taken.
We have a wide range of diagnostic testing available and how or where the testing is completed varies based on the test.
For diagnostic testing not offered on site, our Director of Patient Wellness will provide you with the information to schedule your test.
We will call you when we receive the test results and get you scheduled to go over the results with your doctor.
