Your benefits will be reviewed with you at your first appointment. Your consent will be required beforeto any treatment is given or fees incurred.

Do you accept insurance? Do you accept insurance for chiropractic?

At our Springfield clinic, we are in network with most insurance companies. The benefits on each plan vary. A patient coordinator will run your insurance benefits–including any chiropractic benefits– during your first call to schedule a new patient appointment and let you know what is covered prior to your first appointment.

At our Weaubleau clinic, we do not accept insurance at this time. However, we offer patients lower prices to accommodate.

How much is an appointment with a primary care physician?

The cost of an exam with the primary care physician is $150.00.

Are prolotherapy treatments covered by insurance?

Prolotherapy treatments are not covered by most insurance companies.  However, we do not want cost to be a hindrance to receiving care. If cost is a concern, please contact our billing department by CLICKING HERE, and they will review your financial options with you.

Depending on your particular needs and the number of joints to be treated, the average cost at our clinic can range from $150.00 to $450.00 per syringe.
Usually, an area will need one to two syringes per treatment.

Are Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy treatments covered by insurance?

PRP treatments are not covered by most insurance companies.  However, we do not want cost to be a hindrance to receiving care. If cost is a concern, please contact our billing department by CLICKING HERE, and they will review your financial options with you.

Depending on your particular needs and the number of joints to be treated, the average cost at Loehr Health can range from $750.00 to $1,000.00 per syringe. Usually, an area will need one to two syringes per treatment.

How much is a functional medicine consult?

You have three options to choose from when scheduling your Functional Medicine New Patient Appointment. The three options are as follows:

There is no one size fits all approach to healthcare. While Options 1 and 2 are good starting places for many patients to discover what is going on in their body, that may not be the right place to start for you.  Upon giving us a call to schedule, a patient coordinator will discuss potential options with you based on your health goals and provide you with an estimate prior to scheduling.

How much does hormone testing cost?

Testing for hormonal imbalance is one of our functional medicine services and is not covered by insurance. Hormone test cost is as follows and does not include the cost of your functional medicine visit:

  • Female Hormone Panel: $287
  • Male Hormone Panel (Springfield): $256
  • Male Hormone Panel (Weaubleau): $240
  • DUTCH Panel: $500

New Patients seeking a hormone panel are usually scheduled with our functional medicine physician. Due to the interrelated nature of hormones and symptoms due to other causes, most hormone panel new patients still begin with one of our Functional Medicine New Patient appointment options listed above. During your first appointment, the doctor will let you know what hormone panel–if any–is recommended to diagnose and recommend treatment.

How much is an acupuncture consult?

The cost of the acupuncture exam is $150.00. The total cost for a new patient acupuncture appointment including an acupuncture exam, acupuncture consult, and the first acupuncture session is $225.00.

How much is an acupuncture session?

An acupuncture treatment session is $75.00. This fee does not include the new patient acupuncture consult.

How much is dry needling?

A dry needling treatment session ranges from $75.00 to $100.00 and is based on the number of regions treated. This fee does not include the new patient acupuncture consult.

What is the cost of a massage?

  • Swedish
    Relaxing, full-body massage.
    30min — $40 | 60min — $70 | 90min — $110
  • Prenatal
    Supports the overall physical and emotional health of expectant mothers.
    30min — $45 | 60min — $75 | 90min — $120
  • Deep Tissue
    Deep tissue massage therapy focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles, uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia.
    30min — $50 | 60min — $80 | 90min — $120
  • Hot Stone
    A massage that involves the use of smooth, heated stones that the massage therapist places on your body. This form of massage can help with a variety of conditions.
    30min — $50 | 60min — $80 | 90min — $120
  • Precision Neuromuscular Therapy
    A soft-tissue massage therapy technique aimed at reducing trigger points to decrease pain, restore flexibility, and increase strength. This form of massage can help with a variety of painful conditions,

  • Thai massage
    A massage therapy technique that uses a sequence of gentle pressure and stretching movements to increase range of motion, improve flexibility, and reduce pain. Thai massage clients should wear loose fitting clothing for the massage. Please do not wear denim.

How much is an Active Release Techniques session?

Active Release Technique is usually part of an individualized treatment plan that includes other services. The cost of an ART treatment by itself is: $50 per 15 minute session. Most patients with ART as part of their treatment plan do not have more than a 15 minute ART session. The length of the session is based on the patient’s specific injury and treatment goals.

How much is a cold laser therapy session?

Cold laser therapy may be recommended as part of an overall treatment plan that includes other services (ex. seeing a chiropractor). The cost of a cold laser treatment by itself is $50.00 per session. The number of sessions recommended is based on the patient’s specific injury and treatment goals. For those needing more laser treatments, cold laser packages are available at $200 for five sessions.

What is the cost of an ultrasound therapy treatment?

Loehr Health Center’s clinical team takes a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to managing and treating health disorders. Ultrasound therapy is usually part of an individualized treatment plan that includes spinal adjustments with a chiropractor and a personalized rehabilitation plan with recommended exercises. The cost of ultrasound therapy per treatment is $30.

How much is a myofascial Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) therapy treatment?

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is considered a manual therapy at Loehr Health Center. The cost of the service by itself is $50 per 15 minute session.
Most patients with IASTM as part of their treatment plan do not have more than a fifteen minute IASTM session. The length of the session is based on the patient’s specific injury and treatment goals. Your provider may recommend combining IASTM with other treatment modalities such as chiropractic, kinesio tape, and suggest at home exercises.

How much is an interferential therapy treatment?

Loehr Health Center’s clinical team takes a multidisciplinary approach to managing and treating spinal disorders. Interferential therapy is usually part of an individualized treatment plan that includes spinal adjustments with a chiropractor. The cost of interferential therapy per treatment is $25.

What is your cancellation policy?

Loehr Health Center (formerly Loehr Chiropractic) is committed to providing all of our patients with exceptional care. When a patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another patient from being seen.

Please call us at 417-887-8075, 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations. If prior notification is not given, you will be charged for the missed appointment.
